About the Pinnacle Ruritan Club
The Pinnacle Ruritan Club sponsors the following projects:
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - two scholarships are given to students who once attended Pinnacle Elementary School and are now at West Stokes.

STOCKINGS FOR STOKES - in 2006 clothes and toys bought for 34 children BLOOD DRIVE - Sponsor three blood drives during the year at Pinnacle United Methodist Church GOODY BAGS - during Christmas deliver goody bags to the elderly and shut-in's in the Pinnacle Community BACK PACK PROGRAM - Supply funds for the Pinnacle Elementary School's back pack program where food is place in a child's backpack for the weekend. SPELLING BEE PROJECT - Placed a plaque in the school on which the Spelling Bee Winner's name is engraved and the student is presented with a Wal-Mart gift card. DICTIONARY PROJECT - The club provides a Student Dictionary to each 3rd grade student in the Pinnacle Elementary School. NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND - The club pays for any child who cannot afford to go on a field trip or outing sponsored by the Pinnacle Elementary School. RUDY BEARS - The club has presented Rudy Bears to the local EMS and Fire Department.

TRASH PICK UP -The club picks up trash on High Bridge Road VALENTINE PROJECT - The club honors a couple in Pinnacle who has been married over 50 years with a gift basket at Valentines. BREAKFAST WITH SANTA - The club sponsors a Breakfast with Santa in December inviting the children of the Pinnacle Community.
The Pinnacle Ruritan club supports other clubs in the community and their projects. The Pinnacle Ruritan Club continues to search for land on which to build a Community Building.
